Alyaa Al Sayed
Director of Math Department
Ms. Alyaa Al Sayed has over ten years of experience in teaching mathematics at the highest level. She has graduated from Beirut Arab University (Lebanon) while majoring in mathematics. Ms. Alyaa has previously worked in Dubai with two schools – Providence English Private School which administers British curriculum and Dubai National School which administers American curriculum – in the capacity of a mathematics teacher for children in grades two through nine.
Ms. Alyaa began her time at Quba Academy as a mathematics teacher and a Tahfeez student in 2014. In 2015, she taught both mathematics and Tahfeez at Quba Academy. And in 2018, she briefly served as Assistant Tahfeez Coordinator at Quba Academy.
In 2019, Ms. Alyaa was asked to join the administration of Quba Academy as the Head of the Mathematics Department, a position she graciously accepted. Her primary goal is to help Muslim students build a strong academic base while they are completing their Hifz of the Quran. In this regard, Alhamdulillah, Ms. Alyaa has successfully prepared her students to pass the Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSI) and join early-college high school.
