Aliya Nayeem
Assistant Principal
Ms. Aliya Nayeem has graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology, and a degree in Biology. While at UH, she also completed the pre-optometry course and earned a distinction in Science.
She is a certified Texas Educator and has been in the education field for the past ten years. She has worked in both public and private Islamic schools throughout the country. During this time, she has taught Middle and High School Mathematics & Science.
Ms. Nayeem began her time at Quba Academy in 2018 as a Lead Teacher and has also taught Science and English Language Arts. She has led and conducted several workshops, while also designing and instituting disciplinary procedures each academic year. She also served as the Science Fair Coordinator in March of 2019. She now carries out her dual role as an Educational Advisor and the Marketing Director of Quba Academy.
Her passion lies in helping students and educators alike, and in guiding her fellow colleagues towards improving and continuously growing in their fields.
She encourages her students to establish lofty goals and to push themselves towards attaining them. Her mission is to motivate her students to complete their Tahfeez-ul-Quran and to strive towards fulfilling the requirements needed to excel in their academic and professional careers.
